It’s not new but it is something you usually come across after you already understand redux and want to add asynchronous calls to your app. We’ve been working on it for 8 months so far at Goodyear tire company… making an app where sagas have been super instrumental in reducing complexity and speeding up dev. time. They are basically like $.ajax in jQuery but for React… and slightly more advanced especially in the way they let you process output and re-update the state after some server-side action.
